Lisa McKee,
Northeastern Jurisdiction
The Reverend Lisa Lavelle McKee is an Elder serving in the West Virginia Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church. Along with her Master of Divinity from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC, Lisa holds Master of Arts degrees in Rehabilitation Counseling and Parks and Recreation Administration from the University of Northern Colorado.
She has served as a pastor, community educator, and job coach for individuals with disabilities, a camp counselor, activities director at a nursing home and a hospital chaplain. Lisa's work in a variety of settings as well as her personal experience with disability gives her unique perspective on living a faithful and fruitful life. Lisa is passionate about sharing her faith in God and helping others to grow in faith, including persons with disabilities and is convinced that including all persons in the life and flow of the body that is the Church makes for a healthier, more vibrant and relevant life.
Lisa loves laughing with friends, reading of all sorts, writing, and photography, art, cross stitch, swimming, traveling and campfires. She resides in Summersville, WV with her husband John, who is also a pastor, and Chloe, a spoiled Welsh Corgi.
